Hi, I’m Matt.
Planner by training. Homeowner and father of four. Your advocate from scouting to closing.
Why a planner sells houses
I studied City & Regional Planning at Cal Poly Pomona — how neighborhoods get zoned, built, connected and rebuilt. When I got my license in 2018 and joined Keller Williams Studio City, I realized that training was exactly what most buyers and sellers were missing: someone who could explain not just what a house is, but what its lot, its block and its city plans mean for its future.
From 2019 through 2022 I was #1 in gross commission income and units on my Keller Williams team. Along the way I also built a second business documenting property and contents for attorneys and public adjusters — work that taught me to look at a home in forensic detail.
I’m also a homeowner and a father of four. I know what it’s like to outgrow a house, to weigh schools against commutes, and to make a big financial decision with a lot of people depending on it. That perspective shapes how I advise every client — buyers, sellers, downsizers and investors alike.
My role is to bring those two perspectives together with practical transaction strategy: scouting intelligently, recognizing real opportunities, negotiating with discipline, and pushing back when the facts justify it. I stay personally involved from the first conversation through closing.
Today I focus on nine San Fernando Valley neighborhoods, from Northridge and North Hills to Studio City and Toluca Lake. I also help clients moving between communities — from the Valley to Ventura, or around the South Bay. I write a weekly letter about what’s changing, and I’m always happy to talk through a property — even if you’re not buying or selling yet.
What you can expect
- Personal involvement. I’m the one scouting, negotiating and following through — start to finish.
- Straight answers. If a house is overpriced or a deal doesn’t pencil, I’ll say so.
- Numbers you can check. Every valuation and analysis shows its sources.
- Responsiveness. Call or text — I pick up, or call back the same day.
A clearer view of the Valley — every Wednesday.
One short, readable email: what’s being built, what’s been proposed, what sold and what it means — written by someone trained in city planning. Pick the neighborhoods you care about.
